Character Creator

Available Now

Import and customize modular character packs in Unreal Engine 5. Create unique characters by mixing and matching parts from supported providers.

Overview

The GameDevBuddy Character Creator is a powerful Unreal Engine 5 plugin that allows you to import, customize, and manage modular character packs directly within the editor. Instead of manually piecing together character parts, the Character Creator provides an intuitive interface to mix and match components from supported character pack providers.

Currently launching with support for Synty Sidekick character packs, with more providers coming soon.

Important Disclaimer

GameDevBuddy Character Creator is not affiliated with any character pack creators (Synty Studios, etc.). You must purchase character packs separately from their respective creators. We honor all creator copyrights and licensing.

Troubleshooting

Plugin doesn't appear in the Plugins menu

Ensure the plugin folder is placed directly in your project's Plugins folder, not in a subfolder. The structure should be Plugins/GameDevBuddyCharacterCreator/.

Character parts not showing

Ensure you have the required character pack installed in your project. The Character Creator scans your Content folder for compatible assets. Try refreshing the asset list from the plugin settings.
